1848 - A blacksmith workshop is opened in the German city of Dresden by Johann Christian Wacker.

 

1930 - Start of production of a rammer for foundries. The first electric rammer was later used to compact concrete and soil.

 

2005 - Investments in new enterprises. Acquisition of the German company Weidemann, Europe's leading manufacturer of low to medium capacity wheeled forklift trucks for agriculture.

Acquisition of the Swiss company Drillfix. - Expansion of its geography and purchase of Ground Heaters, Inc, Michigan (USA).

 

The Norten Shore-based company is a leader in mobile construction ground heating equipment.

 

2006 - The company has about 30 subsidiaries around the world, as well as 65 sales offices and service stations in Germany (a total of 160 in all corners of the world).

 

Thanks to modern equipment and well-coordinated work of enterprises producing construction equipment, working in garden and landscape architecture, as well as in municipal structures.

 

2007 - Wacker Construction Equipment AG and Neuson Kramer Baumaschinen AG merge.
