On March 5, 2015, the Indian company BEML Limited (54% of which is owned by the state), engaged in the design and production of railway cars and mining equipment, presented its 205-ton BH205-E mining dump truck to the public.

This dump truck is by far the largest in the country.

India's largest dump truck, equipped with an electric drive, is designed to work in large coal mines.

And the installed Cummins diesel engine with Tier-II emissions system gives it a power of 2300 hp (1716 kW).

Such power of the main power plant in relation to the weight of an empty dump truck of 205 tons allows the machine to have greater productivity and traction.

The giant weighs 335 tons when fully loaded, but BEML Limited says it is nimble and easy to steer, with power steering and a tight turning radius.

Particular attention in the design of the dump truck was given to the comfort of the operator.

The spacious interior, adjustable driver's seat, comfortable driving system, tinted windows and air conditioning with an air purification system are designed to provide the operator with comfort and safety.

As stated in a press release from the manufacturer:
