History of Hyundai Construction Equipment

Above on the page there are several PDF Manuals, Fault Codes DTC & Wiring Diagrams for HYUNDAI Excavators.

Hyundai Construction Equipment, today part of Hyundai Heavy Industries Corporation (HHI), has its origins in 1985, when a construction equipment design and development center was established under the Heavy Machines Division.

And just three years later, the company entered the domestic market, when two models of excavators weighing 21 and 29 tons of its own design were presented.

In 2005, more than 100,000 units of various special equipment were produced, and in the same year the first crawler excavator in the history of the company weighing 50 tons was presented, the model received the designation R500LC-7.

And ten years later, in 2015, the volume of production amounted to about 500,000 pieces of various equipment.

Today Hyundai Construction is: plants in South Korea, China, India, Brazil, strategic partnership with Atlas GmbH and CNH Industrial Inc, a joint venture for the production of engines with Cummins.

The range of equipment manufactured at HCE factories includes: wheeled and tracked excavators weighing from 6 to 120 tons, wheel front loaders with a bucket capacity of up to 6 cubic meters, backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders and road rollers weighing from 2 to 12 tons.
