Simplicity is an American company with a rich history, well known throughout the world.
It was founded back in 1922 in Port Washington, Wisconsin, USA.
At first, the company produced auto parts and was engaged in the repair of automobile engines, but, under the influence of various circumstances, by the mid-1930s, it changed the profile of its activities, and is closely engaged in the development and production of equipment for lawn and garden tractors.
In 1937, Simplicity presents its first, then two-wheeled, tractor.
It was the popularity of this product that laid the foundation for the company's long-term success.
Moreover, this machine was versatile and could be equipped with a wide range of attachments, including a cultivator, plow and sickle mower.
In 1955, the company's engineers created the first lawn mower, and two years later, the first rear-engined mower was released.
In 1955, perhaps the biggest step in the development of the company was made, when a snow plow was introduced as an additional equipment for its two-wheeled tractor.
This invention led to the fact that in 1961 Simplicity introduced the world to the first 23-inch rotary snow blower with a 3.5 horsepower engine.
In 1959, the company produced the first 4-wheel drive garden tractor, and in 1963, the first mini tractor.
Over the next 3 decades, the company opens stores and service centers throughout America and beyond, participates in numerous exhibitions, demonstrates its achievements and receives many awards.
Throughout its history, the company often changed owners, until in 2004, it was acquired by the mega holding Briggs & Stratton - the largest manufacturer of gasoline engines.
The company currently manufactures snow plows, lawn mowers, riders, garden tractors and a large number of attachments for them, shredders, garden vacuum cleaners, foliage blowers and many other devices for the maintenance of the site.
